NFT Market Data Today
Over the past 24 hours, the non-fungible token (NFT) sales volume went down 5.1%. It currently stands at $27,953,210, according to CryptoSlam.
But it’s not all red.
The number of buyers, sellers, and transactions are up 0.5%, 2.5%, and 6.5%, respectively.
Furthermore, most of the top 10 collections have seen their sales increase. The biggest gainer is Solana-based Tensorians. The collection is up 258% to $747,594.
Uncategorized Ordinals are still in the first place. Its sales increased 15% to $3.26 million.
Bored Ape Yacht Club follows it with $1.05 million. It went up 55% in a day.
Meanwhile, only two collections saw their sales decrease: $JIGO BRC-20 NFTs are down 45% to $907,682, and Gods Unchained Cards fell 14% to $535,358.
As for the blockchains, the sales on Ethereum are up 3% to $9.24 million. It sits in first place.
Bitcoin is second with $8.87 million and a 23% decrease. And Solana is in third place with $5.8 million in sales and an 8.4% increase.
Azuki and Arbitrum Join Hands on Global Anime Network
In NFT news today, the Arbitrum Foundation, the Weeb3 Foundation, and Chiru Labs have announced AnimeChain, which is meant to provide a community-governed online anime ecosystem.
According to the announcement, they are “bringing anime to the forefront of the Web3 revolution by creating a unified anime ecosystem for creators and participants alike.”
The network will include original and third-party anime content, NFTs, games, and merchandise.
The Weeb3 Foundation is the developer of AnimeChain, an anime network utilizing Web3 technology.
Chiru Labs is a technology company building the decentralized anime universe through Azuki.
The two will work with the Arbitrum Foundation “to usher in the next era of anime fandom by leveraging web3 technology to enhance the anime experience for millions worldwide.”
This event will merge with the @AzukiNYC community event. Those who purchased tickets to the Azuki NYC Community Event will be added to the guest list for the Arbitrum x Azuki event.

The announcement explained that AnimeChain aims to provide the infrastructure that enables a global, on-chain, anime network governed by its creators and participants.
Moreover, the initiative seeks to develop an anime experience with deepened fan engagement at every touchpoint, it said.
By utilizing Arbitrum, AnimeChain aims to onboard millions of anime enthusiasts into Web3, the partners stated.

Ethereum NFT Game ‘Parallel’ Raises $35 Million
Parallel Studios, the startup behind Ethereum NFT card-battler Parallel, announced that it raised $35 million from a list of major firms and prominent angel investors.
The participants include VanEck, Solana Ventures, Distributed Global, Synergis, Base Ecosystem Fund, Collab+Currency, The Operating Group, Amber, The Spartan Group, and more.
Angel investors, among others, include Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz, and Yield Guild Games co-founder Gabby Dizon.

Per Decrypt, Parallel will use the funds to expand the Parallel universe across various mediums and platforms.
It will onboard more users through the Parallel Ambassadors program, influencer collaborations, and paid advertising campaigns.
Moreover, the studio plans the launches on the Epic Games Store and Steam, as well as the introduction of the Planetfall expansion within the game.
Also, there may be mobile versions of Parallel, but there is no specific plan yet.
In late February, Parallel opened up to the public in a free-to-play beta.
Parallel is a blockchain-based game that uses NFTs for its card system. Players can collect, trade, and battle with these items.
Meanwhile, in 2021, Parallel raised $50 million at a $500 million valuation.
There is no information on an updated valuation following this latest round.
Netflix Documentary ‘NFT:WTF?’ to Feature Damien Hirst, Beeple, and Snoop Dogg
In other NFT news today, Netflix has acquired the UK distribution rights for ‘NFT:WTF?’, the upcoming documentary from BAFTA-winning filmmaker David Shulman.
The documentary looks into the world of NFTs and their impact on the art market, Variety reported and said:
“From the worlds of CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club and celebrity collectors to current industry leaders and the community of collectors, the film talks exclusively to the key architects of the NFT movement.”
It includes interviews with English artist and art collector Damien Hirst, digital artist Beeple (Mike Winkelmann), and Snoop Dogg.
The film is co-produced by Battersea Entertainment and Atomized Studios.
It is directed by Shulman and produced by Josh Berger, with Zad Rogers, Lydia Conway, and Ben Weston as executive producers. The producer for Atomized Studios is Alex Foster.
“NFT:WTF?” is the debut project from Battersea Entertainment, set up by former Warner Bros. UK, Ireland, and Spain president Josh Berger in 2022 as a media investment and advisory company and producer of film, TV, and theatre content.
Berger recently produced Guy Ritchie’s “The Covenant,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
Battersea and Atomized sold the film to Netflix, and Passion Distribution is selling all other global territories, Variety said.
