Microsoft, Intel share gains contribute to Dow’s 188-point jump

Shares of Microsoft and Intel are trading higher Wednesday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA was most recently trading 188 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Microsoft MSFT and Intel INTC have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Microsoft’s shares have risen $7.47 (2.2%) while those of Intel are up $0.61 (1.6%), combining for an approximately 53-point bump for the Dow.
