Embraer has secured an order from Porter Airlines for 25 jets with list price value of $2.1 billion.
The Brazilian aerospace company said that the airline had exercised purchase rights for 25 Embraer E195-E2 passenger jets, on top of their existing orders for 50 planes.
The order will be added to the company’s fourth-quarter backlog. Porter still has the purchase rights for an additional 25 jets.
