Cetera Holdings said it closed its acquisition of Avantax, after shareholders of the tax-focused wealth manager voted Wednesday to approve Avantax’s sale to Cetera’s parent company.
The deal adds more advisors and assets to Cetera while also expanding its tax-focused wealth management offering for investors.
