The U.S. economy defied bearish pundits this year, as GDP grew at a solid clip, unemployment remained low, and inflation declined. Yet an increasing percentage of Americans say they are more stressed at year end than they were a year before, according to a recent survey.
Forty percent of survey respondents say they are more stressed at the end of 2023 than they were a year ago, according to the survey, which was conducted by Allianz Life. That is up from 34% at the end of 2022.
