A former Morgan Stanley advisor is facing a new round of charges for allegedly stealing from his clients. The Securities and Exchange Commission this week brought civil fraud charges against Jesus Rodriguez, 44, accusing him of initiating more than 250 unauthorized disbursements from his brokerage and advisory clients from 2014 to 2021. The commission alleges that he stole nearly $3.5 million from 10 clients.
Rodriguez declined to comment through a lawyer, Rebecca Reyes.
