Max has some fan favorites returning in October, to go along with a solid slate of movies and the debut of its live-sports tier.
“The Gilded Age” (Oct. 29), Julian Fellowes’ “Downton Abbey”-esque drama set in 1880s New York high society, returns for its second season, as the upstart Russell family challenges the stuffy establishment. The sprawling cast includes Carrie Coon, Cynthia Nixon, Christine Baranski, Morgan Spector and Louisa Jacobson, all bedecked in luscious period costumes.
