In the summer we arranged an “informal, zero-agenda, zero-tickets drinks shindig in London”. Despite the absence of charts and questions (OK probably because of it), a lot of people turned up, so we’re doing it again.
This time the date will be November 19 — this coming Wednesday. Yes, it’s extremely short notice, but the best events are always badly planned.
The venue is once again The Wren Tavern — that’s 67-69 Watling Street, London EC4M 9DD — but this time we’ll probably be huddled in the innermost area rather than enjoying the sunshine. If we book another area then we’ll update this post.
Louis is still on his extended disaster tourism tour and Bryce is unavailable, but Toby and Robin will be there, plus a few in addition to whatever MainFT colleagues we can bully into coming along (Katie Martin has already said she’s coming at least). We’ll be there from about 5pm onwards.
So if you’re in the market for a quick drink after work that day then mosey on over. We promise we won’t try to make you guess which decade the Federal Reserve both cut and raised interest rates in every single calendar year.
