Cisco, Caterpillar share losses lead Dow’s 132-point drop

Shares of Cisco and Caterpillar are trading lower Thursday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Cisco CSCO and Caterpillar CAT are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA was most recently trading 132 points lower (-0.4%). Cisco’s shares are off $2.34 (4.2%) while those of Caterpillar have dropped $5.28 (1.9%), combining for a roughly 50-point drag on the Dow. Nike NKE, IBM IBM, and Salesforce CRM are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
