U.S. oil prices ease back after 9 consecutive session gains

Oil futures eased back Thursday after the U.S. benchmark rose for nine consecutive sessions to the highest level this year.

Losses for oil, however, were minor following a U.S. government report showing a more than 6 million-barrel drop in weekly domestic crude supplies.
