Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B): The conglomerate reported strong earnings over the weekend, while Warren Buffett’s annual letter divulged $8 billion of gains from bets on Japanese stocks. Shares climbed roughly 5% in premarket trading.
Nvidia (NVDA): Shares in the stock-market darling rose 1.4% premarket, looking to extend their climb after blockbuster earnings last week. Options traders are also piling into bets on the artificial-intelligence chip maker.
Alcoa (AA): The Pittsburgh-based miner agreed to buy Australia’s Alumina (AU: AWS) for $2.2 billion. Alcoa shares slipped ahead of the opening bell, while Alumina’s stock rose nearly 7% in Sydney.
Li Auto (LI): The Chinese electric-vehicle maker posted its first annual net profit and said that fourth-quarter revenue more than doubled from a year earlier. Its American depositary receipts jumped roughly 8% premarket.
AT&T (T): The telecommunications giant said it plans to reimburse customers affected by a widespread network outage last week.
Domino’s Pizza (DPZ) is due to post results before the market opens.
Workday (WDAY) and Zoom Video Communications (ZM) are expected to report after the market closes.
