Castillo Copper said Managing Director Dennis Jensen has resigned, effective immediately, and named Jack Sedgwick as interim executive director.
The copper-focused exploration company said Jensen is leaving on his own accord, to take up a new business opportunity.
The Australia-based company said it would review its asset portfolio and prioritize strategic plans in the coming weeks, amid a challenging macro environment.
“Moving forward, the board is highly optimistic about prospects and looks forward to working closely with Mr. Sedgwick to progress the group’s strategic agenda,” it said.
