SÃO PAULO–The Czech Republic and Embraer have begun talks on the potential purchase by the European country of the Brazilian aircraft maker’s C-390 military transport plane.
The Czech Republic plans to buy two aircraft to boost its airlift capacity, Embraer said. The deal would include training for pilots, loadmasters and technicians, along with spare parts and an entry-into-operation plan with a local presence of Embraer trainers in country, according to the company.
A purchase would make Czech Republic the fifth country in Europe to choose the C-390, Embraer said.
