The U.K. water regulator said the majority of water companies will have to return money to customer in the charging year ending March 31, 2025, after confirming the financial penalties and payments for the 2023 billing year.

Ofwat said Tuesday that Thames Water will pay the most back to customers, with 73.8 million pounds ($90.6 million). On the other hand, Severn Trent stands to get GBP88.7 million back.

Elsewhere, United Utilities will get a GBP25.2 million return.

The returns also include funding for Ofwat’s green recovery program, the regulator said.
