Tia Mowry is sharing details about losing her virginity to her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict, in her mid-20s.

During the premiere of her show “Tia Mowry: My Next Act” on Friday, the “Sister, Sister” star discussed how Hardrict was her “first everything” because her parents did not allow her to date until she became a legal adult.

“I wasn’t even allowed to date until I was 18 years old,” Mowry explained, US Weekly reports. “I met Cory when I turned 20 and I lost my virginity at 25. There, I said it! And then we got married! Boom!”

Mowry and Hardrict, who tied the knot in 2008, share son Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6. They announced they were calling it quits in October 2022 before finalizing their divorce in April 2023.

Mowry has publicly discussed losing her virginity to Hardict in the past.

“My husband and I, we were friends for a whole year before we decided to start dating. And even once we started dating, we waited. I lost my virginity at 25. So we even waited for a while to even get intimate,” she told Ebony in 2013.

“This works for some people, and it doesn’t work for some people, and it’s OK,” she said.

Cory Hardrict and Tia Mowry dated for eight years before tying the knot in 2008. Their divorce was finalized in 2023.

Earlier this year, Mowry got real about how her divorce has emotionally affected her in a relatable Instagram post.

“One moment you’re relieved, feeling like you’ve conquered something significant, then suddenly, emotions hit you all over again,” she said over video clips of herself and her children. “It’s a side of divorce that isn’t often discussed, especially when there are kids involved.”

She added, “Someday I believe I’ll be able to look back on this time with nothing but warmth and gratitude for the beautiful children brought into my life and the stronger version of myself that emerged from the experience.”
