Trump ally caught on audio recording allegedly threatening to assassinate two prominent Democrats

US Capitol Police are investigating comments allegedly made by pro-Trump political operative Roger Stone in the weeks before the 2020 election. In an audio recording, he appears to discuss assassinating two well-known House Democrats. CNN has not obtained a copy of the recording. CNN’s Zachary Cohen reports.
