US To Sell $60 Bln In Reopened 42-Day Bills Tue

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)–The U.S. Treasury plans to auction $60 billion in reopened 42-day bills Tuesday.

The debt will settle on Sept. 07, 2023 and will mature Oct. 19, 2023.

The debt is a reopening of an issue first sold on April 20, 2023.

The Federal Reserve holds $9.483 billion of maturing securities for its own account. Amounts bid by the Federal Reserve banks for their own account will be in addition to the public offering amount.

Noncompetitive tenders for the 42-day bills, available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 12:00 PM Eastern Time Tuesday. Competitive tenders available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

The CUSIP number is 912797FB8.
